Suffolk Feast: One County, Twenty Chefs is a new cookbook by local food writers Glyn Williams and Tessa Allingham. Not just about food, this feast of a foodie book also gives background information about the twenty chefs and provides insightful snippets such as what their favourite midnight snacks are and asks what they would be if they weren’t a chef?

Paul Yaxley from The Fox & Goose at Fressingfield near Harleston, would have been a footballer, if a broken leg in childhood hadn’t scuppered his chances and Lola deMille, head chef at Darsham Nurseries, might have been a guinea pig breeder!

Suffolk Feast: One County, Twenty Chefs

Suffolk Feast is packed with delicious recipes, really interesting chef interviews and a useful food lovers’ guide to the county.

“Creating this book has been a thrilling foodie journey,” say Glyn and Tessa. “We are hugely grateful to every one of our 20 chefs and producers for opening their kitchen doors and farm gates to us. We hope you enjoy reading their stories, recreating the recipes and of course eating in the wonderful restaurants!”

The book will be available to buy at the 20 profiled restaurants and on sale at Aldeburgh Bookshop from late October, priced £19.95. It will also be on sale at select farmers’ markets and food retailers throughout Suffolk www.suffolkfeast.co.uk
