With a variety of attractions in the Waveney Valley, there are great days out for the whole family. For a unique experience, visit Bressingham Steam and Gardens. The gardens are renowned worldwide for their horticultural excellence and you can see the might of steam engineering up close by taking a ride on one of the locomotives. Or delve a bit deeper into East Anglia’s aviation heritage at Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, Flixton.

Between Bressingham and South Lopham is the stunning Redgrave and Lopham Fen National Nature Reserve. The largest remaining river valley fen in Europe, and the source of the River Waveney, Redgrave and Lopham Fen is an internationally protected nature reserve.

Set to the stunning backdrop of the Broads, Beccles Lido provides a fun filled day around a traditional open air swimming pool. Visitors to the Lido shouldn’t miss a river trip on the Big Dog Ferry.
