Sitting adjacent to the 13th century St Peter’s Hall, the brewery has built a reputation for excellent quality beers, using water from their own deep bore hole, locally malted barley and Kentish hops, to produce a range of delicious and unusual ales such as honey porter and fruit beer, as well as a gluten free beer.

Adding fruit and honey to beers was common practice up to the 19th century, and allowed brewers to create seasonal brews. This method has been introduced at St Peter’s Brewery and has enabled the brewing of a special Christmas ale. Smooth, fruity and full-bodied, it’s an ideal accompaniment to traditional festive fare.

Brewery Tours (Easter – end December)

Tours include a talk about the history of St. Peter’s Brewery, the process of brewing and a beer tasting following the tour of the brewery.

When: Saturdays & Sundays every hour and a half between 11.00am – 3.30pm

Cost: £7.50 per adult, including a bottle of beer to take home.
