Not long to go until Bressingham Steam & Gardens opens its doors for the 2015 season, which starts on 26th March 2015.
This much-loved visitor attraction will be open from 11am to 5pm every day until 1st November 2015.
You can take a ride in a steam train through the beautiful Bressingham Gardens which is a lovely and relaxing way to explore the site. There are over four miles of track and four different journeys to choose from. More information and videos of the rides is available here.
There’s also the Dad’s Army exhibition, which is a collection of memorabilia owned by the Dad’s Army Appreciation Society and comprises a recreation of Walmington on Sea, the fictional home to Captain Mainwaring and his men.
Keep an eye on the Bressingham website for events throughout the year, including a visit by Peppa Pig on 28th and 29th March
Mondays and Tuesdays (outside the school and public holidays) are Gardeners’ Days (Non Steam Days) and Wednesdays to Sundays are always Steam Days, where at least two trains will be running.
Not to be missed is Bressingham’s show-stopper, the three abreast Gallopers (built in 1897 and shown above) a fun fare ride which runs every day throughout the season. Great fun whatever your age!
