Uncover an abundance of antiques in the Waveney Valley
Whether you truly know your Majorlica fom your Menuisier or just enjoy rooting around for a rare find, you will uncover an abundance of antiques in the Waveney Valley. The area is a hidden treasure trove of antiques, collectables and vintage lovers’ delights as well as host to a plethora of regular brocantes, street markets and vintage fairs.
Halesworth
Starting to the South in Halesworth, The Blackdog Antiques Centre sits proudly on the Market Place in a stunning grade 2 listed, timber building dating back to the 1500’s. You will find everything from furniture and ironware to rustic bygones and even taxidermy.
The monthly Halesworth Brocante, Antique and Vintage Market provides over thirty antique and vintage dealers selling an eclectic mix of antiques, vintage and mid century modern pieces. Adding to their calendar of events, Haleworth also hosts the annual Halesworth Antiques Street Fair. Now in its 27th year, this year it will take place on Sunday 25th August.

Diss
The Diss Auction Rooms of TW Gaze are a must visit. Choose from more than 50 weekly sales of over 2,000 lots, plus over 20 special sales every year. Situated on a large site at Roydon Road, you never quite know what you will stumble across next.
Harleston
For heavy dose of nostalgia, whatever your age, Cornucopia at the Corn Xchange in Harleston will transport you right back to a bygone era. A varied selection – or cornucopia – of vintage shops, galleries, cabinets, and museum areas awaits you. Hidden away at the back of the building you will find The Parlour Tea Rooms and Parlour alley Gardens, where you can enjoy pot of tea and a slice of homemade cake amongst original vintage fixtures and fittings.
Beccles
The are two Antiques Street Markets held in the centre of Beccles on Sunday 6th May and Sunday 12th August. The market plays host to a hundred general and specialist dealers selling a wide range of good quality antiques and collectables including furniture, silver, china, linen, jewellery, books, clocks, retro and vintage design and decorative items.
Loddon
Loddon Antiques and Collectors Fair is held regularly throughout the year at Jubilee Hall in Loddon. Showcasing up to forty general and specialist dealers you will find a wide range of good quality antiques and collectables.
Bungay
The Bungay Antiques Street Fair is celebrating its 23rd year on Sunday 21st July. This annual event has become known as one of the biggest and best antique events in East Anglia. Dealers from Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Kent, Surrey, Lincolnshire and London will be lining the streets.
