A busy day in Harleston in Norfolk is planned for Sunday, 21st June when, for the second year running, the town will be host to a massive antiques and vintage street market from 9.30 am – 4.00 pm.

Over 80 stalls have booked their pitches, selling antiques, distressed and painted furniture, vintage clothing, medals and other priceless memorabilia, curios and all manner of collectibles and visitors will find plenty of refreshment at the town’s excellent watering holes, and at the many pop up cafes on the day.

Musical entertainment will be provided by musicians from the South Norfolk Youth Symphonic Group and Archbishop Sancroft students – plus a large helping of fun from Doris and David, the eccentric “Dancing Day Trippers” from the Honk Project, who’ll be bringing a shining moped with state-of-the-art sidecar, lots of instruments, and a whole load of swing and jive, for a delightful walkabout show.

The day will be topped off with an open street party from 6.30 – 9.30pm.

Harleston’s Market Place, Exchange Street, Church Street, and The Thoroughfare from Market Place to Swan Lane will be closed to traffic from early morning until late. Diversion signs will be in place. There will be ample parking space at the Apollo Rooms (Mendham Lane), the Recreation Ground (Wilderness Lane) and Budgens’ car park (Bullock Fair Close).
