Early February will see the start of the snowdrop season and what better place to see them than on the Raveningham Estate in Norfolk.  An elegant, Grade II listed building, Raveningham Hall, has been home to the Bacon family since 1735 and the 500 acre parkland has ancient natural woodland, a beautiful garden and 18th century walled kitchen garden.

Visitors are invited to wander through the main garden to see the display of snowdrops and the kitchen garden and its large greenhouses will also be open to the public. Visitors will be able to take in the views across the lake and the modern sculpture in the gardens and enjoy refreshments in the tea room.

Snowdrop event: 2nd – 27th February 2015 | Monday to Friday 11am to 4pm (closed Saturdays).

Admission: Adults £5 | Concessions £4.50 | Children (under 16) free.

Proceeds from the Sunday openings (8th, 15th and 22nd February) will go to Priscilla Bacon Lodge, a centre for specialist palliative care in Norwich.

Raveningham Gardens normal opening times are from 7th April 2014, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to 27th August, 11am to 4pm. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The Hall is open under the Heritage Open Days scheme in September.
