Winter is a wonderful time of year for a bracing walk through the countryside; the landscape looks dramatically different as the leaves fall from the trees and the earth feels crisp with frost beneath our feet. It’s a great time for bird watching too and you might be lucky and spot Little Egrets, Tree Creepers, Buzzards and Owls.
We are fortunate to have so many nature reserves throughout the county, most of which have some lovely events throughout the year.
On Tuesday December 23rd, the Suffolk Wildlife Trust at Redgrave and Lopham Fen will be hosting a Christmas event from 10am – 2pm for 6-10 year olds with festive games, crafts and activities.
The cost is £6 for each child or two siblings for £10. Booking is essential. Please call 01379 688333 or email redgrave.education@suffolk
With the Christmas shopping (hopefully) done, take some time to enjoy some festive fun in the lovely Suffolk countryside!
